Easter nails part 3

Here are my final Easter nails over the weekend. I did the white stamping over a smooshy design I will show in the next post and was my first time trying it out. I used the festive 25 plate from Moyou London once more as I won't be using it again for a while.

How was your Easter? Mine was busy but fun.  The weather was crazy and I tried to avoid Storm Katie at all costs - that was some windy weather out there!
Despite that, I'm loving the longer and brighter days already and the thought it will still be daylight by the time I get home. Finally feels like spring has come!

For those of you who are back at work today may your day be short and remember it's a four day week!

Easter bunnies

Easter is almost over and I'm trying to squeeze in another couple of manis.  I wanted to do a simple pastel one and loved the bunnies in Moyou London's festive 25 plate. To showcase them fully I decided to go for a simple base. I chose this gorgeous pale pink from Models Own in Cashmere Rose.
I actually only put one coat on as the polish coverage was good enough with just the one. I then used Barry M Cotton to stamp the cute little bunnies!

I love how they look. What do you think of it.

Easter nails

Is there anything more fun than a pastel Easter mani with bunny rabbits and Easter eggs?! I couldn't resist trying out an egg themed mani this weekend.

I got a Moyou London Festive stamping plate in 25 last week and couldn't wait to try it out.  I painted my nails in pastel shades from Barry M's speedy nail paint collection then made some decals using the Magic Workshop nail mat from Moyou London. I'm still getting used to making decals and found this lot much easier especially as I did the clean up before sealing with a topcoat instead of the other way around.

I love the way these came out and the pastels have really got me feeling like it's spring even though the weather tells a different story - rain go away!

Hot pink tribal nails

I can't lie, I love pink. I go through phases of liking other colours but then I always come back to the pinks and this design has made me want to use this shade more.

It is Fluorescent Pink from W7 and is a vibrant and bright colour that really stands out, especially over white. I painted two coats of Barry M's Cotton as a base  and then used Moyou London's Explorer plate to stamp the pink over. I finished off by topping with Deborah Lippman's topcoat to give a shiny finish.

What do you think of the colour?

31DC2015: Purple nails

Moyou London's Holy Shapes collection are by far my favourite stamping plates so they are so versatile and have so many different patterns to use. So when  it was the purple prompt for 31DC2015 I wanted to try one of them out.

I used a base in Nails Inc Bond Street, which was a lush shade of dark purple. Then I used Barry M's Fondant to stamp on the pattern on top. I finished off with a Seche Vite topcoat.

What do you think of the combination?
