QVC Beauty Bash

Last week I enjoyed a morning of beauty at the QVC Beauty Bash - an amazing event with lots of beauty treatments, and a chance to speak to the QVC presenters, experts and brands you see on the channel. I went extra early when a few of us bloggers had a preview and could have some treatments before everyone else arrived. I took quite a few pictures, then realised when I got home that my camera card wasn't in! So I will have to make do with the ones I have here.

The first stop was a manicure at Nails Inc, where I could choose from the new range of polishes which will not be on sale officially until March. There was concrete, leather effects and the new range of pastel colours. I went for a pastel peach called Kensington Palace Gardens, topped with a feather effects top coat which I loved! You can see it in this post.
Next I met Shavata and had my eyebrows threaded to perfection. It was much quicker and pain free compared to my usual threadist (is that the right term?!). And lastly, I was lucky enough to squeeze in another treatment, a back and shoulder massage at Elemis.

After that the event was opened up to the public and I found Annie from Annie Million. It was also a great chance to speak to the brands to find out a bit more about the products face-to-face. I had a really good chat with Percy of Percy and Reed who was really lovely! He told us about his two salons, and working with celebrities including Rita Ora, but his passion was listening to customers and making products tailored to their needs. I talked to him about my hair and how I needed something to hydrate it to stop it being frizzy as my hair is naturally curly and he suggested using a light moisturising hair treatment. He also gave us a goody bag of full-size products which I can't wait to try!

After that we had a chat with the ladies at Benefit about the new Fine One One, which I tried out and really liked. I love how it goes on as a cream, and turns into a powder. That one is definitely going on my wishlist! And we also had a chat with a lady at Leighton Denny and received a mini nail polish. I had a pillarbox red, and can't wait to try it out.
Annie and I in the photo booth. Do you like our glasses?!
There were lots of fun things to do and everyone was so friendly. It was a lovely morning. And we were given the most amazing goody bag packed full of products to try out. I am looking forward to posting some reviews about them all.

*A big thank you to QVC for the invite, and a great day!
