Nail art - Colour blocking using Topshop Powder and Seche Iconic

Hello lovelies! I hope you are having a fab weekend. I am currently suffering from the dreaded flu and took the opportunity to try out a new nail art design as it was a good a time as any, For today's nail art I have gone for a colour blocking look using Seche in Iconic. I am familiar with Seche Vite topcoat, but had not tried any from the colour range until I got this glossy red colour in my Glossybox a couple of months ago. Well, you will be glad to know it is just as good as the topcoat, and glides on perfectly. One thick coat would be perfect, but on the nails I did one thin coat, I topped this with another coat to make it a more solid colour.

Next up was this pale pink beauty from Topshop in Powder. Since getting this one I have been trying to incorporate it into as much nail art as I can as I love it! I did small blocks of colour at the tips, and as it was a little streaky I topped it with another coat.
Finally. I painted around the edges of the Topshop Powder with this silver number from Rio. In hindsight another darker colour like a pink would have blended the colours together, but this finished it off. Where I went over it again as it was thin it has come out a bit more thicker. I sealed it all with a Barry M Basecoat and Topcoat, and voila!

Let me know what you think. Do you like the nail art design? Have you tried colour blocking? And what colours do you think go together best for a colour blocking look? What would you finish the edges with instead of silver?
