L'oreal Color Riche Confetti topcoat

The topcoat trend is here with a bang, what with speckles, leather and feathers to ply around with already. And the latest offering is this salt 'n' pepper look topcoat from L'Oreal Color Rich in Confetti. The clear polish is packed full of specks of black and white pieces, that adds a twist to any nail look. I sported this look for my cousin's birthday on Saturday, and I was inundated with everyone asking me how I did my nails, did I dot them, or even one cousin asking if I sprinkled real salt and pepper on them!

I used a base coat of OPI in San Tan-Tonio. then topped with one coat of L'Oreal confetti. I used varying amounts on different nails to try it out, and I love the effect. My nails have really been a talking point throughout the week, and I am looking forward to trying this topcoat out with different base coats.

What do you think of this topcoat? Would you try it? And what's your favourite nail trend look at the moment?

The polish is priced £4.99 and is currently available in selected Superdrug and Boots stores before being rolled out in the summer.

  1. I really do like the look of this topcoat. It makes a change from all the glitters we usually buy! I will be on the look out for this next time I'm shopping!

    1. You are right, it is a change to sparkly glitters, this is more subtle, but just as effective, and still suitable to wear to work!
I have only spotted it in my local Superdrug so far, but think it will be rolled out to the usual stores from the summer.
Let me know how you get on with it. x

  2. Bargain price and an awesome look :) I'll have to keep a look out in Superdrug xxx

    1. Do have a look for it Roxy, not sure if it is officially out, but this is my favourite of the new topcoat range they have coming out. xx

  3. I definitely want this love it so much it gives a completely different look than regular glitter polishes. Great post!!!!

    1. I agree Sarah, it does look different, and I had so many compliments, and my two-year-old niece kept touching my nails trying to work out what was on them!
