I remember my mum always had an Aloe Vera plant in the house when we were younger. When any of us had a skin irritation she would break off one of the stalks and when the aloe vera juice came out she would pour that on our skin to soothe it.
Anyway, today's top is from Gran Canaria Wellness. Over to them:
The Aloe Vera or 'true aloe' from Gran Canaria is considered by many experts to be the purest in the world.
Nira Betancor Galvin, assistant managing director at Gran Canaria Wellness said: “Aloe Vera is known for soothing and healing sun burn but it is widely acclaimed to have many other skincare benefits.
“It has been used for thousands of years for it’s excellent curative and therapeutic qualities treating a wide variety of ailments including eczema, psoriasis and IBS. It also contains antioxidants in the form of vitamins A, C and E, and enzymes that can help calm inflammation and irritation—Keep some in the fridge for an amazing way to wake up your skin, post shower.”
