How are your New Year resolutions holding up? I have started simple by just promising to drink more water to keep more hydrated, and to clear up my skin.
Yesterday I started off my month of beauty to help come up with ideas that may help if you are detoxing, or if you want to clean up your beauty act. I kicked it off with some of my own advice about hair oil here.
Today I have a fab tip from the lovely people at Frontcover Cosmetics who also sent me the lipstick below to demonstrate their beauty advice.
Over to them:
Michelle White, creative director of Frontcover Cosmetics, believes in preparation before applying make-up, particularly lips in the biting cold January/February weather.
She said: "It’s really important to treat chapped lips to get smooth lipstick application. Get lips in a kissable condition by exfoliating gently with a toothbrush every week. Rub in a circular direction then apply lashings of lip balm- ideally before bed for intense moisturising.
"During harsh weather conditions it’s a great idea to switch from matte lipsticks to creamy textures to keep your lips supple."
