Beauty tip #12 - Green Tea and a face mask tutorial

Today's beauty tip is from Ginvera HQ and is all about the benefits of Green Tea, with a tutorial for a face mask.

Research shows that green tea extract is naturally rich in antioxidants which help protect the body from free radicals which cause accelerated ageing and increase the risk of major diseases.
I spoke to Ginvera about it's benefits, and they said Green Tea been lined to aiding weight-loss as well as flushing out toxins, which affect the skin and make it look blotchy and life-less. There are many benefits from the leaves themselves, which can be used as a gentle exfoliant or as a face mask.

For this facemask you will need:
Green Tea,
A tablespoon of granulated sugar;
And half a tablespoon of lemon juice.
Make a cup of tea (add lots of tea) and leave it in for about an hour. Wait until the tea is cold (chill if necessary) then mix in the sugar and lemon juice and pat onto your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes, wash off and moisturisee.

If you don't fancy a DIY mask Ginvera have also suggested some of their products that contain Green Tea extract as its main ingredient, and also has soyabean extract and herbal ingredients to clear up the face.
