V&A Museum - part 2

A couple of weeks ago I went to the V&A Museum in central London. I posted about it here. But as there were a lot of photos I decided to include the clothes posts separately. Here are a few snippets from the new collections that caught my eye. Note: the fashion section will not be re-opened until the spring, but these are the ones that are currently on show.
This Pac Man dress is from Giles by Biles Deacon. If you look closely you can see the iconic image from the 1980s video game on the silk dress. I love the intricate neckline and the cut of the dress.
The Atlantis Dress below is from Alexander McQueen's last full collection before he died. The satin dress is made with digital prints and images of reptile skins.

And finally, this outfit was worn by Chris Martin from Coldplay while touring during promoting and performing Viva La Vida. It was made by Stella McCartney and  Sara Jowett and is reminiscent of French revolutionaries.
What do you think of the outfits? And which is your favourite?

  2. Ha ha! It is stunning isn't it? Until we can afford it I think we will just have to dream and take pictures. :(
