Review: MUA lipstick shade 11

It' no secret that I am a massive fan of MUA make-up, and when I came across this shade I had to try it. I have been on the lookout for a good, moisturising lipstick, that doesn't need a balm underneath, and is suitable for everyday workwear.
The MUA packaging is simple, sleek and black and the colour can easily be seen through the see-through bottom.
The colour itself is a natural pink/rose colour that glides on smoothly. There really is no need for a balm underneath to help moisturise the lips, which is a plus.
The swatch below does look a bit darker than it does in bullet form, but on my lips the colour seemed about right.
The only downside about it, and maybe because my room was warm, was when I swatched it the bullet was very soft and almost broke off. I think it would have done if it was rolled up out of the tube more. But the lipstick ticks all the other boxes, so I will have to remember to store it somewhere cool.
Overall, I was very impressed for a lipstick that only costs £1. As it is my first one from the MUA range I am defintely encouraged to check out other shades.
Have you tried this shade or any others from the range? What do you think of the colour above?

  3. For only £1 you can't really go long. And it's not too nude that you don't see it. I think it is just right for day wear.
