Pucker up!

Looking for something new to keep those lips kissable? Have you checked out The Body Shop's new roll on lip balms?

The Natural Lip Roll Ons are available in mint, orange, berry, coconut and rose, and are made from 100% natural ingredients.

My favourite is orange for a zesty-citrus summer feel.

They are available at an introductory price of £3 each - so tempting I might get one in every colour!

Cha Cha Tint

If you are a fan of Benefit's rose-tinted lip and cheek stain and fancy something a little different for the summer months then you will love the latest from the cosmetic brand.
Cha Cha Tint is a similar stan but is mango-tinted and perfect for both the lips and cheeks.

It gives a "tropical sunset" hue that helps you look sun-kissed without being overdone in blusher. It is priced at £24.50.

Forever 21 launches in London tomorrow

US clothing giant Forever 21 will be opening its first store in London store tomorrow.

The three-floor store, which follows openings in Birmingham and Dublin, will be in the capital's busy shopping district Oxford Street.

To get a flavour of the kind of stuff they sell I have posted some pictures below.

This set of Geo Pop bangles is a reasonable £5.65.

These Scalloped Leatherette shoes are £24.75.

This Surplice Floral dress is £18.75.

The jewellery is definitely reasonably priced and still looks good, the shoes and bags are good for what you pay. The outfits are a little boring though. But definitely worth a look.

Matte nails courtesy of Nails Inc.

Check out this new Nails Inc. matte black nail polish called Oxford Street. The finish is on trend and fab!

The polish glides on and looks glossy, but it dries matte. To keep the matte effect don't use a top coat or a base coat or this will change the finished look.

The only bad point is that it doesn't last as long as other nail polishes - but it looks good so it is forgiven.

Nicki and Ricky are new Mac spokespeople

The rapper Nicki Minaj and singer Ricky Martin will be glamming it up thanks to MAC cosmetics.

They will be the new spokespeople for the 2012 Viva Glam campaign, which will be launched in February 2012.
The collection usually raises money for the MAC AIDS Fund and all the funds from sales are donated to fight AIDS and HIV.
Previous stars who have starred in the campaign are Lady Gaga, Fergie, Lil Kim, Missy Elliott, Eve, Mary J. Blige, and Christina Aguilera.

It is not the first Nicki Minaj - MAC collaboration though. Last year the cosmetic company teamed up with the Super Bass rapper to release a limited edition lipstick Pink 4 Friday when she released her debut album.

Magnetic nails from Nails Inc.

Are you sick of your nails? Tired of crackle finishes? Watch out - there is a new nail style on its way and it's magnetic!

Nails Inc. is bringing out a new range of polish called Magnetic Attraction - I like it!

There are available in a few shades including gold, grey, and purple, and they contain iron powder.

The bottle cap has a magnet embedded in it which gives a rippled effect when you hold it over the polished nail. Cool eh?!

They will be available in early September. Will you be trying it out?

Trend Alert - Jazz up the hair!

Embellished hair was all over the autumn/winter 2011 catwalk.

With this trend anything goes. Feeling flashy? Stick in a jewel. Feeling wild? Stick in a feather. There were no boundaries on the runway.  Here are designs by Valentino and Alexis Mabille.

Try the trend out with beads, hairbands, jewels, feathers, hairclips, glitter, and fascinators and remember this - an unadorned head is an unfashionable one.

You have been warned.

Trend Alert - Remember the choker? It's back!

I remember having a whole jewellery box of chokers when I was younger. Bear in mind this was in the 1980s.

Well it's making a comeback! Ok, if you have a short, fat neck this is totally unsuitable for you.  But if you have a long neck like an ostrich get on the bandwagon!

Designers have been showing them on the autumn/ winter 2011 catwalks so they are sure to hit the high streets like wildfire. The one above is from Valentino autumn/winter 2011.

Make sure you have at least one of these statement pieces in your jewellery collection for the coming season.
This gold Topshop number is £20. If you are wearing a big necklace like this one leave the earrings to draw attention to the necklace.

Spiky green goddess

I saw this necklace and literally screamed "ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH! I LOVE IT!

It is gorgeous! I not only love the colour I love the design of it.

It is a Kenneth Jay Lane 22-carat gold-plated sodalite necklace.

It would be perfect teamed with a white t-shirt, or over a black dress.

It is £60 from Net-A-Porter.

A grown up dress

Check out this dress - it's super fabulous!

The Lela Rose dress has a wrap effect which is perfect to cover up the cleavage, yet give it a sexy twist. The pleat across the waist cleverly conceals any unsightly tummy bulges.

And the mid-length hemline just cries for the dress to be taken from the boardroom to the bar.

Dress it with nude heels to lengthen legs, black heels for a night out, or as seen here animal print to take the "work edge" off it and create a fierce finish.

It is £835 from Net-A-Porter.

Alexander McQueen belt

Love this belt and had to share it with you!
The Alexander McQueen chain-embellished leather belt is perfect to add some structure to your outfit - think black dress or fitted shirt. Or pencil skirt with flowing top with a bit of added drama with this belt.

It fits in perfectly with this season's military style, but I have just one question to ask....

Who the heck has £1,295 to spend on a belt?! Seriously - if you have that much money to burn give it to me, or to a cat rescue shelter. Save the cats!

I want!

I am lusting after this Marc By Marc Jacobs computer case. It is just fab!

It is 13" and covered in pink jungle print.

It is priced a reasonable £55 from mywardrobe.com.

Cuteness! Tell me what you think of it.

One in three women won’t leave house without make up

A new survey out reveals that a third of women in the UK will not leave the house without wearing make-up.

And 23 per cent of women reapply it within three hours of leaving home.

But are these figures really that surprising? I certainly never leave the house without make-up on. That doesn’t make me high maintenance, it means I care about the way I look and feel.

When I have taken the effort to apply make-up and take pride in my appearance I stand up straighter, look people in the eye more, and hold my head up high. It transforms the way you look, but also the way you feel.

The survey also says that women think about their appearance nine times a day – is that all?! I thought it would be more than that!

What do you think? Are you surprised by the results?

Gucci Angelica silk-satin appliqué clutch

This gorgeous clutch bag is opulent just like the fashion giant.

The bag was inspired by 1970s poster girl Angelica Houston.

It has a massive jewel-coloured corsage-type flower which is bound to be a hit.

Whether you wear with accessories or a plain dress the flower is sure to add a pop to your outfit.
It is available from Net-a-porter for £825.

Create the drama with Maybelline gel liner

Maybelline has brought out this pot of black gel eye liner with an applicator brush included.

I have not tried this yet but it is on my list. I have used the same Dior Intense Liquid Liner for years and fancy a change.

The make-up brand promises to give an intense black line and lasts up to 24 hours – which would be ideal for me as I find many liquid eyeliners fade or come off after a few hours.

I will be trying out eye-flicks with this one! Let me know what you think.

Kim Kardashian’s bachelorette party in Sin City

The Keeping up with the Kardashians reality star was having a ball in Las Vegas this weekend.

Kim and her sisters were partying in Tao. Her sisters Khloe and Kourtney teased Kim last week by saying they would humiliate her at her party as pay back for Khloe’s own bachelorette party.

But the bride-to-be looks like she was having the time of her life as her sisters danced on the sofas.
Kim and Kris Humphries and believed to be tying the knot sometime in August.

Chloe Green to star in Made in Chelsea?

Chloe - the daughter of Topshop mogul Sir Philip Green – is reportedly in talks with Made in Chelsea producers to star in the second series of the hit show.

The show is expected to start filming at the end of the summer and Chloe, who has previously dated Spencer Matthews from the show, and is now dating Ollie Locke, would be ideal to add a bit of drama.

The 20-year-old is also in early talks to design her own CG footwear range for her dad’s business.

I for one would love to see her on the show to spice it up a bit and give the other girls a run for their money. Imagine a catfight between her and Gabriella Ellis, Ollie's former girlfriend. Or any one of the many girls who have thrown themselves at Spencer's feet. Bring it on!

Lauren Conrad is feeling a bit blue

The recently-single starlet has washed that man right out of her hair – or is that washed another colour in – after splitting from actor boyfriend Kyle Howard.

The 25-year-old former The Hills star has tried out a new hair colour – blue!

Lauren is seen here with subtle blue hints on the ends of her blonde hair.

Anna Paquin sizzles in blood red

The actress, who plays Sookie Stackhouse in television series True Blood was in San Diego, California, for a question and answer session with fans this week.

She wore this great blood-red (geddit?!) dress.

For a similar look check out TFNC’s version on Asos.com. It has frill sleeves and pleats on the neckline.

Priced at £45, it is also available in stone and a vibrant royal blue which is worth a look.

Pixie and Lipsy

Pixie Lott has announced her fourth collection with Lipsy.

The singer has had a phenomenal success with her previous three collections with the high-street chain and this is set to go the same way.

Not only does she look great here so do the clothes.

They are a mix of laid-back pretty pieces and foxy going-out dresses. They are very wearable and worth checking out.

This jumpsuit is cute and playful. Perfect festival wear teamed with sandals and a 70s-style headpiece. The bandeau-style playsuit is £45.

This dress is another make-the-most-of-what's-left-of-the-summer winner. This summer dress has a racer back, lace trimming and vintage-inspired floral print. The dress is priced £55.

Turn up the drama and make sure you stand out from the crowd in this hot red dress with diamond embellishment on the hip. It has one-shoulder with ruched detailing and is available at £68.

And finally, this is my favourite from the collection. If you can only buy one piece make sure it is this one.

It is an asymetric bandeau dress and it's fab! The bold print is right on trend and the ruched details and sweetheart neckline is flattering. Looks like Pixie is hitting all the right notes with this one!

And with all the colours in the dress you can change the look everytime you wear it by accessorising with different shoes, bags and jewellery making sure you never look the same twice. It's a steal at £60.
