Marc by Marc Jacobs Natasha bag

I need a new bag this season and was looking at spring/summer-time colours when I came across this one.

Marc by Marc Jacobs has reworked the Natasha bag for this season. It is in turquoise leather and priced at £290 from Net-A-Porter.

I adore this bag! It's colour blocking and by one of my favourite designers - and practical - and cute - and well the list goes on!

I just love the label! Worth getting it just for that.

Hair Candy

Last week I had my hair cut from extra long to short - well short for me anyway.

For the first time ever I have it above my shoulders and I am still getting used to it.

I am trying it out with different accessories and styles. One of my fav styles at the moment is with an alice band, and the back back-combed.

I also love dressing it up with different hair accessories.

I have been browsing Accessorize.com and found this cute bunch.

These Amalfi hairclips are my favourite and are cute and girly. They are £4 for a pair.

These two mini butterfly clips are painted and take on a feminine camouflage look.
They are £5 for two.

And these coloured alice bands are perfect to sweep your hair off your face, or just to add a flash of colour.

They come in four different colours so you never have an excuse not to be able to match one to your outfit. £6 for four bands.

Flower Power

This gorgeous bangle makes me think of sunny summer weather, wearing my hair curly and boho, wearing maxi dresses and gladiator sandals.

Perfect for the sunny weather we have had this week.

The Amalfi Flower Painted Bangle is chunky and wooden with a hand-painted design.

It is available from Accessorize.com for £7, but currently on sale for £6.30 - bargain!

Biker heels

Head on down to River Island for these biker heels.

Carrying on the trend from last summer the sandal boots are taking on a harder edge.

This one is a black ankle cuff sandal with a large buckle detail and a side zip fastening.

The price at £89.99 is a little steep for me, but with the summer weather on the approach and the versatility of these heels it may be worth it.

Team it up with skinny jeans for a casual look, or a black dress for a glam night out.

Priced at £19.99 it's not going to break the bank.

Wear with a girlie outfit to give it a hard edge.

It will look fab over a white t-shirt, or dressed up over a black dress.

Can't wait to get mine!

Style Crush

How cute is this dress?! This cobalt blue cutwork leather dress from Asos is a pricey £180 but absolutely gorgeous.

The colour is amazing and perfect for the spring. Just looking at it makes me want to shake off my winter jumpers and welcome the warmer weather. AND it is on trend with this season's colour blocking look.

Charity t-shirt to help Japan

This simple but fab t-shirt launched by online retailer More T Vicar is being sold to raise funds for the Japan Tsunami Appeal.

Priced at £15.99 the t-shirt gives an impressionistic version of the Japanese flag.

And here is the part I like - all the profits are going directly to the British Red Cross. Being fashionable and helping a great cause!

Welcome

Well hello there! I would like to say a big hello and welcome to my blog.
My name is Safira – hence the name of the blog – and I LOVE fashion and make up!

This blog may be a little self-indulgent, as I will be including my personal likes and dislikes. I will also look at new trends, old trends that have made a come back, and how they work on the average person.
