Shopping spree at Forever 21! And store review

Today I went shopping to new store Forever 21 in Oxford Circus in London. It opened its first store in the capital a couple of weeks ago. Its other UK branch is in Birmingham.

It is in the old HMV store, closest to Bond Street tube station and spans three floors. It is pretty impressive!

It has everything you could ever want. It was packed out and I could see why. I would describe it like a cheaper version of Topshop.

There are wall-to-wall clothes from everything like preppy American blazers, baseball jackets, to tribal prints, grunge laces, and a vintage collection inspired by the 1950s and 60s.

There are plenty of basics, knits and denims on the basement level, while jewellery and accessories can be found on the top floor.Although I was a bit disappointed by the shoe selection there are more online.

In the interests of this blog I had to buy some stuff - purely to report back to you of course!

This zebra-print cropped jacket caught my eye. I have teamed it up here with a black vest. It will look good with leggings, or skinny jeans. It was priced £19.75.

I love this tribal print t-shirt. There were a lot of similar themed tops and dresses in the shop, but this was probably my favourite. It is priced £12.75.

This top looks a bit drab here but is great on. The asymetrical-fitted top is longer and pointed on one side, and sits just off the shoulder on the other. This one was £14.75.

And this charcoal knitted cardigan was £19.75. Because it is a loose fit it would look good with something fitted underneath in a contrasting colour and with cut-off denim shorts.

This gorgeous tribal-inspired ailver and black metal necklace cost £8.90 but it looks more expensive than that. I love the design and I am a sucker for big jewellery.

I would wear this with a plain black t-shirt to emphasise the design in the necklace.

This turquiose, blue and silver beaded necklace is fabulous! It was only £6.95 and totally worth it. It would look great over a sleeveless black dress for an evening, or a white t-shirt for the day.

These flower hairclips were £1.50 and this beaded bracelet was £3.90.  The beads are on one long piece of wire which has been twisted into an entwined bracelet shape.

These purple and gold earrings were £5.95. I love the colour of them and the intricacy of the design. They have an ethnic feel to them.

And this one was a bit of a surprise for me! Although I have plenty of hats I have never worn a fedora before. But my fiance was goofing around in the shop and tried it on then made me try it on and when I looked in the mirror we both had a lightbulb moment ..... because it actually looked good!

I would causal it up with jeans or shorts and a t-shirt. A steal at £10.65.

So have you checked out the store yet? Tell me what you think of it.
