Cranberry nails

Is there anything more satisfying when doing your nails than a polish that glides on smoothly. That's how I felt about Autograph's Cranberry which was a dream to apply.

I got this in my Marks & Spencer beauty advent calendar and thought it was the perfect shade of dark pink. It is such a beautiful colour and I've been finding any excuse to wear it lately, especially under other nail designs I will show you in the coming days.

Hope you have a fab Friday planned, I'm planning to chill tonight after having an intense dance class last night. Here's to the weekend!

Life lately

Wow, this year has flown by! Already mid October, and realising I hadn't blogged for a while I thought I should check in. The last few months have been a whirlwind. Things have changed and I have changed. They haven't been easy, but that's fine.

I have been off most social media for a long time to give myself some much needed thinking space and been catching up with family and friends. Now looking forward to the last couple of months of the year which are sure to be busy and hopefully better than the rest of the year has been. And with Halloween coming up I may even squeeze in a nail post or two ;)

Smoosh - green and gold Model's Own

A little while ago I discovered the Smoosh technique of splodging colours together to get a swirly effect, not so dissimilar to using cling film or saran wrap. I've been using an extra big stamping head to splodge colours on then to transfer to my nails.

For this particular one I used Models Own Chrom Gold and Turquoise Hyper Gel. I adore this combination, especially with the gold and have used it to smoosh with other colours since.

What do you think of it?
